Hi everyone,
The summer of 1998, we took Gabrielle to Washington, D.C., and she was cheerful about the opportunity to visit the White House. While there, we took her to see the Washington Monument and visit parts of the Smithsonian Museum. She showed a sense of curiosity and did not ever seem disinterested in anything, which was rewarding to Bennie and me.
Bennie and I were happy that we were travelling the grandparent route, and we will always remember the good feelings, fun, and laughter.
