Hi everyone,

I asked my daddy, Adam Shaw, Jr., to tell me about Granddaddy and Grand Mama’s marriage.

Daddy talked long-winded about their relationship this way. “I’ve never heard my parents argue. I’ve never heard my mother and daddy quarrel. My sisters, brothers, and I have never heard our parents say a cross word to each other. When Monh (Mama), began a complaint, Paw (Daddy) looked into her beaming eyes, filled with love, and said, ‘Wife, let that alone.’ Nothing more was said. That prevented arguments between them.”

I invite all couples to pattern their relationship after my grandparents, for they will be always happy.
