Hi everyone,
Granddaddy and Grand Mama never said anything to hurt each other's feelings.
What a lesson their marriage taught me and other black families. It was encouraging to learn that lifetime romance was only a step away, in any marriage, and that step required marriage partners to never hurt each other’s feelings.
Good marriages, my grandparents taught us, means to stay in control of our tongue and share mutual sweet words and love and kind actions.
